As I was slowly gliding through the chilly forest, I suddenly came to a halt, observing two vines/plant branches connected to each other. It was then when the plant spoke to me; it was like a reflection of my life. The two interwoven branches of the same species overlap each other and come together as one. All the separate strong green leaves on the trees, either with patterns and/or holes represent the life of mine. The holes symbolize the hard aspects of a particular situation that I must overcome. The separate patterns on each leaf, however, show how every part of my life differs, whether it's family connections, friends, schoolwork, or hobbies, but in the end, they all come together to make a pathway. Life creates a pathway, just like the plant did, as it opens doors which I can mold and choose my own future. The interwoven branches together exemplify the intricate problems and hardships I must overcome, but simultaneously, shows my stable relationships with others. The prickly feel on the branches shows my personality: if one touches or aggravates me, I can fight back and show my self-confidence and independence as a person. Although the taller trees block most of the light and hover on top of the plant, it still has its own light shining through, just like my life. My parents tell me ethical morals and teach me about the basics of life, but it is eventually my decision on where to stir the direction of my life. The plant is small like me, but I am growing, not only physically, but as a person I know I have a lot to grow and learn about. This one in a kind plant exemplifies who I am, my lifestyle, the ones around me, and even what my future is about: a step to an open doorway.
